एक बार बुद्ध एक गांव में अपने किसान भक्त के यहां गए। शाम को किसान ने उनके प्रवचन का आयोजन किया। बुद्ध का प्रवचन सुनने के लिए गांव के सभी लोग उपस्थित थे, लेकिन वह भक्त ही कहीं दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था। गांव के लोगों में कानाफूसी होने लगी कि कैसा भक्त है कि प्रवचन का आयोजन करके स्वयं गायब हो गया। प्रवचन खत्म होने के बाद सब लोग घर चले गए। रात में किसान घर लौटा। बुद्ध ने पूछा, कहां चले गए थे? गांव के सभी लोग तुम्हें पूछ रहे थे।

किसान ने कहा, दरअसल प्रवचन की सारी व्यवस्था हो गई थी, पर तभी अचानक मेरा बैल बीमार हो गया। पहले तो मैंने घरेलू उपचार करके उसे ठीक करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन जब उसकी तबीयत ज्यादा खराब होने लगी तो मुझे उसे लेकर पशु चिकित्सक के पास जाना पड़ा। अगर नहीं ले जाता तो वह नहीं बचता। आपका प्रवचन तो मैं बाद में भी सुन लूंगा। अगले दिन सुबह जब गांव वाले पुन: बुद्ध के पास आए तो उन्होंने किसान की शिकायत करते हुए कहा, यह तो आपका भक्त होने का दिखावा करता है। प्रवचन का आयोजन कर स्वयं ही गायब हो जाता है।

एक व्यक्ति एक प्रसिद्ध संत के पास गया और बोला गुरुदेव मुझे जीवन के सत्य का पूर्ण ज्ञान है | मैंने शास्त्रों का काफी ध्यान से अध्ययन किया है | फिर भी मेरा मन किसी काम में नही लगता | जब भी कोई काम करने के लिए बैठता हूँ तो मन भटकने लगता है तो मै उस काम को छोड़ देता हूँ | इस अस्थिरता का क्या कारण है ? कृपया मेरी इस समस्या का समाधान कीजिये |

The faithful Dog a very touching Story

A dog was so faithful that the woman could leave her baby with it and go out to attend other matters. She always returned to find the child soundly asleep with the dog faithfully watching over him. One day something tragic happened. The woman as usual, left the baby in the”hands” of this faithful dog and went out shopping. When she returned, she discovered rather a nasty scene, there was a total mess. एक आदमी कहीं से गुजर रहा था, तभी उसने सड़क के किनारे बंधे हाथियों को देखा, और अचानक रुक गया. उसने देखा कि हाथियों के अगले पैर में एक रस्सी बंधी हुई है, उसे इस बात का बड़ा अचरज हुआ कि हाथी जैसे विशालकाय जीव लोहे की जंजीरों की जगह बस एक छोटी सी रस्सी से बंधे हुए हैं!!! ये स्पष्ट था कि हाथी जब चाहते तब अपने बंधन तोड़ कर कहीं भी जा सकते थे, पर किसी वजह से वो ऐसा नहीं कर रहे थे. उसने पास खड़े महावत से पूछा कि भला ये हाथी किस प्रकार इतनी शांति से खड़े हैं और भागने का प्रयास नही कर रहे हैं ? तब महावत ने कहा, ” इन हाथियों को छोटे से ही इन रस्सियों से बाँधा जाता है, उस समय इनके पास इतनी शक्ति नहीं होती कि इस बंधन को तोड़ सकें. बार-बार प्रयास करने पर भी रस्सी ना तोड़ पाने के कारण उन्हें धीरे-धीरे यकीन होता जाता है कि वो इन रस्सियों नहीं तोड़ सकते, और बड़े होने पर भी उनका ये यकीन बना रहता है, इसलिए वो कभी इसे तोड़ने का प्रयास ही नहीं करते.” Read More »

किसी गाँव मे एक साधु रहा करता था ,वो जब भी नाचता तो बारिस होती थी . अतः गाव के लोगों को जब भी बारिस की जरूरत होती थी, तो वे लोग साधु के पास जाते और उनसे अनुरोध करते की वे नाचे , और जब वो नाचने लगता तो बारिस ज़रूर होती.

कुछ दिनों बाद चार लड़के शहर से गाँव में घूमने आये, जब उन्हें यह बात मालूम हुई की किसी साधू के नाचने से बारिस होती है तो उन्हें यकीन नहीं हुआ.
